After an early traditional Breakfast, you will begin your guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled and historical cities in the world. You will travel through time through the narrowed streets of the medina decorated by mounds of spices, fruits and antiques. Discover the true authentic crafts of the intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco that survived industrialization. You will also visit Mosques including the Quaraouiyine Mosque, founded in 859 by Fatima el Fihri and considered as the first university in the world ,as well as the Andalusian Mosque dating back to 860. After a peaceful and traditional local lunch, we will resume our tour by visiting the local souks, markets, of attarine as well as the nearby tannery, the ancients medrassa, old schools, the tomb of moulay idriss. Our tour will be culminated by a visit to fes jdid, the jewish neighborhood and the royal palace.
