Our trip will start from a hotel in Casablanca. We will head towards the Hassan II Mosque, a religious place and one of the largest mosques in the world, known for its spectacular location on a platform over the Atlantic Ocean. Then, we will move to Rabat where we will visit some of its interesting places like the Mechouar of the Royal Palace, the ruins of Mellah, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. Our journey will continue to Meknes where we will visit Bab El Mensour and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, another ruler of Morocco, The royal palace and then we will finish our tour by a visit to Sehrij Essouanie, which is a lake near the old city. After visiting Meknes, we will continue our journey toward Fez.
Our plan for today is to stay in Fez and explore every single place in it, its labyrinth Medina, narrow alleys; glamorous monuments and rich historical past. We will visit Madrasas, Fondouks, mosques, palaces. We will be entertained by its traditional Moroccan crafts, . uncountable babouches, kaftans and tunicas, ceramic bowls, colorful key chains, leather bags and jewellery, and watch professionals how they work with leather, wood, ceramic, brass and silver. It will be educational as well as entertaining trip.
As soon as we take our breakfast in Fez, we make our way to Ifrane, a mountainous place with an abundance of fountains, lakes, springs, and forests. It is a good place to escape the routine of the cities and be enjoyed by its natural landscape. A few kelometers along Ifrane road and we stop at Azrou to explore its forests and play with its uncountable number of monkeys. We intend to have lunch at Midelt and then follow Ziz valley on our way to Merzouga.
Our journey in Merzouga will be full of so many surprises. We will venture into the desert on a camel trip, experience the nomadic life, and eat Saharian meals. In ‘Balck Village’ of Khamila, we will be entertained by a group of Gnawa musicians, and have our traditional lunch in Rissani. At the end of the day, we will have a delicious Sahrawi dinner, enjoy the sunset while riding the camels, and entertain by the Sahrawi Folklore and the Berber music while staring at the sky at night. We will sleep overnight in a tent, wake up to see the sunrise and zip out of there.
We make our way to the hotel in order to take our breakfast and have shower. Then, we will continue our journey to discover more exotic and Saharian places like, El Kelaa Magona, Valley of the Roses and the Skoura oasis and then arrive early evening to Ouarzazat.
Today, we will visit the most fascinating places in Morocco. We will start with Ain Ben Haddou and see the World Heritage Site where so many famous Western movies have been filmed. We will also be amazed by the most striking and fascinating examples of the earthen constructions of Southern Moroccan architecture. Afterwards, we continue with a visit to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui. These areas are known by their panoramic views, uniqueness, beauty, and glorious history. We will have lunch in a local restaurant in Telouet before descending the Tizi-n-Tichka to Marrakech.
It will be incredible to visit Marrakesh. It is well-known by the masses of people motorbikes, donkey cars, historical monuments, architectures, and fascinating museums. We will show you the magical world inside Marrakesh; the most famous square of Jamaa El Fna where we find musicians, dancers, storytellers, hanna tatou drawers, actors, snake charmers and so many other entertaining things.
We will spend the morning at leisure for shopping or relaxing in Marrakech before leaving mid afternoon to arrive to Casablanca by 4pm (or if you have a departing flight or want to spend time in Casablanca we can leave Marrakech at your convenience). After we reach Casablanca, you can choose between staying in a hotel or a transfer to the airport.
